Designed to stand the test of time, this timeless jute floor runner has been handmade by fair trade artisans in a rural village community of Bangladesh. The women first plait long strands of blonde jute, and then weave the plaits together with black cotton thread on wooden looms row by row, before stitching the ends using a needle and thread.
